The LCU-3 transceiver control interface is functionally equivalent to ICOM's CT-17, Kenwood's IF-232C, Yaesu's FIF-232C, TenTec's 305 and the Heath interfaces.

No external power supply is required, all required supply voltages are derived from the serial port itself. This further reduces the risk of RFI pickup by the interface, the rig and the computer. The LCU-3 requires no special software drivers.

Each LCU-3 is fully assembled, tested and includes a ninety-day parts and labor warranty. The LCU-3 is turnkey compatible with the ProLog2K logging system. The unit comes complete with a cable fitted with the appropriate plug for your radio. A test plug and a diagnostics diskette are also included with each interface.

Have you run out of Serial Ports? The Datamatrix USCNV unit is a USB to RS-232C converter that will permit you to connect any serial peripheral to your computer's USB port. Simply connect one end of the 6' cable into your computer's USB port and the other end to your serial device. The serial end of the cable contains a Male DB-9 connector but a separate DB-9 to DB-25 adapter is included to mate those devices utilizing a DB-25 connector. The USCNV is the perfect companion for the LCU-3 level converter. The USCNV product is USB specification revision 1.1 compliant, and will support up to a 1 Mbps transfer rate.

Model USCNV USB To Serial Converter
The USCNV unit is USB specification revision 1.1 compliant and will support transfer rates up to 1 Mbps. The unit is a 6' cable containing a standard USB connector on one end and a Male DB-9 connector on the other. A DB-9 to DB-25 cable adapter and Windows drivers on CDROM are also included.
