System Requirements
The
ProLog system is supplied on a single CDROM and will run
in a Windows 95**/98/2000/NT/XP™ environment. The optional QSL Route Database requires 13MB of hard disk
space and the optional CallMaster database requires an additional
150MB. A logbook
containing 5000 contacts and award files will occupy an additional 2MB
of hard disk space. If
you intend to run both rig control and the packet interface using a TNC,
you will require two dedicated serial or USB ports. As most transceivers
and TNC's utilize a standard RS-232C interface, the use of a USB port will
require a USB
to Serial Converter.
** If you are running Windows 95, Prolog2K requires version 4.00.950B or greater. To verify your Windows version, right-click the "My Computer" ICON on your desktop, then left click on the "Properties" menu entry. Select the "General" Tab and Under the "System" heading, your Windows Version number will be listed. If the version number is either "4.00.950" or "4.00.950A", then Prolog2K WILL NOT function properly in your machine.
